The Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia

One of Australia’s coolest regions, both in climate and in its ability to create diverse, interesting and unique wines. The Yarra Valley is one of Australia’s most prestigious culinary regional destinations.

The Yarra Valley was the first wine growing district in Victoria, with a long history in wine stretching back over 180 years.

Variations in altitude, soil type and microclimates throughout the region allow for many varieties to thrive. Known for its incredible diversity, the Yarra Valley is producing world-renowned Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon in our signature style that creates wines of complexity and finesse. The Yarra Valley is home to many leading winemakers, known for producing some of Australia’s finest wines as well as innovating by embracing emerging varieties and style.

Only an hour from Melbourne, the Yarra Valley has become a key culinary destination. Exciting regional restaurants, artisan producers, breweries and distilleries are creating impeccable products and experiences that complement the premium wines produced here. Throughout the region, culinary hubs have been created through the emergence of these specialists and visitors can immerse themselves in these villages throughout the region.

Alongside the world class wines and culinary experiences, you can also enjoy the stunning natural environment including breathtaking National Parks, TarraWarra Art Museum and local galleries, Australia’s best native wildlife park Healesville Sanctuary, hot air ballooning over the vineyards at sunrise, range of culinary and cultural events across the year.

The Yarra Valley embraces all four seasons and creates a different sensory experience in each - the spectacular gold and orange hues of vintage during Autumn, stark brooding minimalist landscapes in the Winter, lush rich blues and greens of Spring and sunny festive exuberant vibes in Summer.
